9. A11 moneys and articles found expased far purposes of
gamins, ail fnrniture, utmsils, or apparatus employed or used far
gambling shnll be eanfiscated and shall be forfeitto the Condominium

10. Whoever wilfully obstructs any Ofiicinl authorised as
provided in Article 8 in the exercise of bis duty shall be liahle as an
aocomplioe and subject w the penalties prescribed in Article 4 af Lhis

11. On the occasion al' public fœtivitiu the [District Agents
of the place ooncerned] acting jointly may authorise Lhe plnying of
gaines of chance at such places and subject to such conditions as
they think fit. Application for permission shall reach each [such

gaines af chance the authority shall be withdnwn and nny futuzc

12. Nothing in this Regulntion shall make it an oiîenoe w
play whether for a stake or not (a) a gaine in nny recognised hotel or
boudins bouse, provided that the plnying of sueh me be not of
the nature al‘ public gambling (b) nny gnme which is alsa'an atliletic
exercxse.
[12L (1) Every chnin-letter game or scheme is hereby declared
la be unlnwful.
(2) For the pus-pose of Lhis section, the expression “amin-
letter gaine or scheme" shnll include every gaine or seheme wherehy
it is intended that my persan shall reoeive a Ietter or other communi-
cation inviting or soliciting him ta pay out saine valuable considem—
tian ta any other persan or persans and ta send further letters or
communications cf a similar nature to other persans in the hape or
expectalion cf thereby reoeiving same gain or profit.
