8. It shsll be lswful for any Police, Cuswms or Condominium
Medical Oflîoer to seize and œnfiscate any prohihiîed substance or
malerinl or preparafion contsiuing any prohibited substance, found
under conditions contravening the provisions of this Regulmion.
9. It shall be lawful for any Police, Customs, or Condominium
Medical Ofiicer to take cognizanœ of any ofi'enee under this Reguls—
tion and to seamh thc person of myone suspected of wnoealing
thereon any prohibiœd substance or maten'al or sny document or
lhing oonneeted therewith.
10. The Resident Commissioners, acting joindy, may issue to
any Police, Cusmms, or Condominium Medical Ofiicer a warrant tu
seorch any premises or place in which any prohibiœd substance or
material or any correspondance or fl-ring connected therewith is
rensonnbly suspecied to be.
11. Any persan wilfully delaying or obstructing any holder of
sud] Warrant or conccaling any substances, articles, books, or
documents, as sforessid, shall be guilty of an oiïence under this
Regulation.
11. Any persan who wilt'ully—
(a) sots in contravention of or fails Lo comply with the con-
ditions of any permit muter! under tlu's Regulau'on, or
(b) nids or abets or prepares the commission of or an ancmpl
io commit au ofi'enoe under this Regulatinn, or under any
oorresponding law in force in any place ontside the New
Hebn'des,
shall be guilty of an ofienee under dus Regulation.
l3. Ofl‘enoes apn'nst d]: provisions oi' this Regulafion shsll be
punishable by a fine of S20 and imprisonment l'or one month.
l4. Joint Regulation No. l of 1923 is hereby repealed wilhout
prejudioe to anything lawfully clone thereunder or to liahüity
thereunder for any ofl'ence commined sgninst me sonne.
