but not coming within the provisions of paragraph (Il) of this
Article, shall take all possible steps to prooeed immediaœly for
inspection to the'nnarcst or most convenient medical institution or
medical praclitioner, should, before the completion oi' the 21' days
aforesaid, his temperature rise or he sufi‘cr from any illness however
sh'ght. He shonld in any case take a1] possible sœps 1o inform a local
medical aurhority thereof.
5. Passengers ooming under the provisions of Article 2 hareof
shall not disanka a! any place other thon Lheir destination in tire
New Hebrides without the written permission of a Port Health Ofiicer
or Condominium Medioal Oflîoer apting in snob a capacity. Snch
permission shal] only be granœd for urgent legitimaœ raisons. The
permit given shall stars the reason for disembarkation and the
conditions nnder which Lhe permit is issued. Except in a medical
emrgcncy under no conditions shall such passengm landing from a
ship spend the night on shorc, but those peimitîed tu land from on
aircmft msy be allowed to spend tire night in a specified place on
stated conditions, if the Port Health Oflioer or Condominium
Medical Oflioer concerner] sees fit.

6. Transit or throngh passengers cousins under the provisions
of Article 2 hereof shall not disembark in the New Hebrides without

be granted for urgent legitimate reasons. Transit or through passen-
gers oî aimait may be permitted under stated written conditions to

or Condominium Medical Offioer conoemed see fit.
IV—SHIPS’ AND AanAFrs’ Omcnns AND CREW
7. (I) No oflioer or nny member of the crew cf any vassal or
aircrafl coming under Lbs provisions of Article 2 hereof, shall be
allowed to disembark exœpt with thc writîen permission of a Port
Heallh Oifiœr or Condominium Medical Ofiîoet min; in anch a
capacity. Such permission shall be confined to the condnct of the
vessel‘s or simral'l’s legilimnte operations or business and shsll
include, where neoessary, instructions regarding the conduct of such
operau'ons at inter-islam ports and anchomges and regarding pro-
œdnre to be carried out in case nny sickncss is observed on the
vessel or aileron during the stay of the vessel or aircraft in the New
Hebrid.
