A JOINT RÉGULATION
Tn amend certain provisions of Joint Regulaflon No. 12 ol‘ 1914 and
tu provlde for the hem: collection cf Costmns Ducs fmm Importers
outside Vil! and Mele.
1. Notwithstanding (lie provisions cf Am'cles 13 and 27 cf
Joint Regulation No. 12 of 1914 the privilcge of landing wiLhout
prsvious declaration and paymnt of dues gonds destined for any
olhar place in Lhe Group exœpt Vila or Mele at any cther place
except Vila either directly by the importing vcsscl or aller Imm-
shipment into another vessel on a through Bill cf Lading may b:

2. Within sixly days from thc date of landing of bis goods the
importer shnl] despatcll to the Colloctor nf Customs at Vila his
declaration madc ont in du: and proper form supported by relevant
invoiccs and other documents.
3. At the samc time LlJc impomr shall designate and notin

by him to pay to tbe Cumms Service, on prescntation of an 0rdcr
to Pay the Customs Ducs levianc upon the gonds imported.
4. Duties on goods, Lhe declnrations in respect of which have
not been dnspatched within sixty days of the landing of such goods,
shall b: increased by [2%] for every fiftcen days or fraction of fiftee'n
dnys of unauthorised delay, except in the case of force majeure, the
proof cf which shall be upon the importer.
5. If dues are not qunidatcd within a. petiod of m'ght days of
the lamentation w the impvrlnfs agent of an 0rder m Puy made
out by Lha Custorns Service, the privilegs cf landing hi: gonds at any
otlwr plane except Viln shall be compulsorily withdrawn from Lhe
importer and shall no: be Ienewed withont me approval of the
Resident Commissionm.

7. Gonds landed at Vila in mention cf Il]: provisions of

be mleased until outstanding dues, as well as those corresponding to
