publie auction and Lhe proceeds of the sale shall be lodged in the
Condominium Trensury alm— deduction of:
(a) L Salvnge for the salvor as provided in section 2 hernof;
(b) Customs duties, if any; v v
(c) Cost ot' sale by motion as provided in section 2 (d) hereof.
4. If before tige expiration oî e perlod of five years from the
dut/e of the first publication of notice as aforesaid, the owner of Lhe
vessel makes a claim w the prooeeds of the sale as provided in section
3 preoeding the net prcoeeds of such sale withont interest shnll be
paid by the Condominium Treasllm m such owner on production
ot‘ proof cf snob ownership; and
If afler the expiration of the aforesaid period of five yem from
the date ol' publication of notice no claim of ownership of the vessel
shall have been made Lhe net prooeeds of the sale by anction shall
finally be carried to the aocount of Lhe Condominium Govemment.
5. Wrecks or stranded vessels which slmll have been follnd bllt
of which notice shall not have been given as provided in section 1
hereof shall be considexed as illegally detained and 5h51] be seiæd.
In snch cases publication of notice of sale of wrecks, and the lodg-
ment of the prooeeds of sales by auction shall be as provided in the
section preceding, but the salvor shnll have no claim to salvage,
and sball be liable to prosecntion before the Joint Court or before n
Court of First Instance as me case mny be in mordanoe with du
provisions of section 6 next foliowing.
6. Infractions of the provisions of this Regulation shall be
justiciable by the Joint Court or by a Court cf First Instance ns the
case may be and shall be punishahle by a penalty of imprisonment
of from one ta thirty days or by payment cf a fine ot' from tenpence
to four pounds or by one or other of Lhose penalties.
This Regulation shnll'be known as the Derelicts Regulation No.
3 of 1923.
