10. Any nansfer and any mortgage right or charge existing
given or created ovei- the land aflected by me Certificate shall be void
unless or until the saine be registered and countersigned by the
Registm.
11. No instrument afiecting land in the New Hebrides, of
which a œrtified plan bas rwt already been filed in the Regisu'y, may
be registered nnless il oontxina a proper plan and description of the
land conoerned madc or oenified by au oflicial surveyor.
12. Every instrument preaented to the Registrar for registration
shnll be aocompanied by a translation into the French or English
language as the case may require, and such translation shall b:

13. Every instrument regixtered in respect of or alîecting the
saine esmte or internat shall notwithstanding any expms implied or
constructive notice be entitled to priority in regard to tlu'rd parties
accmding tu the date of registration and not mording to the date of
suc]: instrument itself.
14. When by inheritanœ, sale, assignment or any other cause,
a registered pmperty shall be apportioned. the registration shall be
cancelled, and there shall be nmde as many registmtions of the new
properties established by du division of the original property. In
thesc new entries the original registration number shall be shown.
Certified plans drawn up by a qualified surveyor ahall be attached
m the file containing the new registrations. Nevertheleas the pr0<
visions oi' Article 26, parngraph 8, cf the Anglo—French Convention
oi’ lhe 6th August, 1914, shall apply to a vendor who retains a portion
of lhe property.
15. If the duplicate of the Title to the property or the truc
entrant of Tltle, is lost or destroyed, the interested party shall bring
the fact t0 the notice of the Registrar, who shall publish in Lhe
Condominium Gnklte a notice canoefling the document lost or
destroyed and, thre: months aftet the publication of the Gazette
containing such notice, shall issue to the owner a new duplicata which
shall show the number of the original and shall be in conformity
therewith. Such duplicate shall show the canoellation cf the original
and indicate clearly that it mnsn'tntes a duplicate and shall alao
bear the same number as the original. (Theae special circumsumccs
shall be sumd in the Register.)
16. In order to efi'ect registration of rights or other encum—
branoes burdening the propeny, it shall be necessary to fumish the
Registrar with the deed or instrument in us many originals, plus une,
as are required by the law governing the said deed or instrument
establishing such righta or encumbrances, together with the Certificate
cf Tille, and, ifrequired, the Truc Extract of Title. Provided that such
