[8. Al] filth, kitchen refuse, reoeptncles of metal, wood, glass
or omet matter liane m commute a breeding place for mosquiws
or flics, shall be oollected and dcposited in tight refuse bins provided
wîth oovers.

Before being placed in such refuse bins all fins and rweptaeles
as aforesaid shall be orushed or pieroed with holes.

The removsl of rubbish by the Sanime Service will be under-
taken ai: the houn and under such conditions as shall be indicated
by notice issncd by the Sanitary Inspector.

Any infraction of the provisions contained in this Section shall
be considered as hnving been committed by the occupant ot' the
premises in question]

[(b) The snme conditions axe applicable to works of construction
and to major repair work.]

(c) Included in this prohibition are: under pinning the setting

(d) The proprietor, nrchitect, or builder, shnll, before commenc-
ing any building work, submit to the Sanitary Commission une or
more duplicate plans oftlie work projemed, whether for new buildings
or bis repens.

(e) On deposit of these documents a reoeipt shsll be furnished.

(f) If, afler examination of Lhe plans by the Sanitary Commis-
sion, they are of opinion that the conditions prescribed have been
observed, authority t0 proceed therewith shnll be given by the
Resident Commissioners with the least possible delay.

(g) If modifications therein are recognised as neoessary, or if it
îs considered desirable t0 refuse such aulhority, Lhe decision shall be
communicated within a pen'od of [sixty] days from the date of deposit
of plans.

(h) Should no decision have been oommunicated within that
periocl the owner may oonsider himself authorised to commence
opcrntions.

(j) The Sanime Commission shnll inspect every building on ils
completion for the purpose of ascenaining whether Lhe provisions of
this Regulntion have been observed. A report oi' the inspection shall
be drawn up in quadruplicate; one copy shsll be sent c0 euh of the
Resident Commissionm, one to the ownn of the property, and one
oopy for record in the archives of the Sanitst Commission.
