Made by the Resident Commissioners under the provisions ni
Article 7 of Lhe Angle-chh Protocol, 1914.
l. “Consumer” means a persan in occupation cf any premises
tu whioh a water supply PIPE and meter have been laid.
“Promises” means any Land, building or olher pruperty lo
which a water supply PIPE and meter have been laid.
“Superimendent of Works" includes any persan charged by thc
Resident Commissioners with the duties of Lhat Oflice.
2. The charges in respect 01' water supplied by PIPE to a
consumer’s promises shall be determined by the Resident Com—
missioan in the Schedule ta rhis Regulation.
[3. (a) A11 waœr regislered on a mater shali be held tu have
been consumed by the consumer and mater rendingx shall be taken
by a persan authorised in writing by the Resident Commissioners
for that purpose: Provided that in me event cf the consumer’s
mater breaking down or being defective during any quarter, hix
consumpu'on [may] be determined by the person authorised to read
motets by averaging the consumer‘s consumpu'on over four previous
quarters. If lhe consumer has occupied the premises for less than
four quarte", consumption shall be delermined by averaging luis
consumpîion over bis period oi‘ occupation.
(h) An account sbaJl be sent in the months cf April, July,
October and Ianuary t0 each consumer, and, subject to the provision
of the next succeeding article, a consumer sholl, within one monlh
of thc reoeipt of such account, pay (o the Joint Administration the
sum stated to be due.]
