Dawidi's death
This note tells of the garma ceremony organised in 1970 to purify Dawidi's nephew (the narrator) after the death of the former. Kupka, the deceased's "blood brother" was invited to participate in the ceremony which was led by Djawa as a djungaya or ritual manager for his mother's group.
